At Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation University, in the Modding course conducted by Hayri Atak during the 2021-2022 spring semester, students designed their cakes which were inspired by achitectural trends and brought them to life using 3D printer technology. And so the “Form Follows Cake” event was organized, which responded to the need for a workshop to bring a multidisciplinary approach to thinking and to integrate fabrication with different fields. Interesting and exciting moments were shared in the workshop, which took place with the collaboration of gastronomy and architecture.
